WE USE ORGANIC FABRICS
Silk
Fabrique Artisans chooses to work with only the finest and one of the most desirable. The silk that is obtained from the sericulture of the mulberry worm is finely converted to produce the Kanchipuram silk.
Linen
Fabrique Artisans sources its linen from one of India’s top expert producers who guarantees their products can never be replicated. The sourced linen is manufactured and processed using flax imported from the fields of Belgium and France.
Cotton
Fabrique Artisans chooses to work with because of the way it is designed and manufactured into clothing it has many advantages, such as its ability to control moisture, insulate, provide comfort and it is also hypoallergenic.
Process of making our product:
The pure natural component of mixture are used while the skilled workers hand dye the fabric in small quantities. After that each piece of fabric is cut and sewn. All our fabric products are dyed with natural compounds like leaves and flowers and no chemical dye is used in the process. And all our products are dried naturally.
Eco-Dying
Our Policy
All our production are handmade and naturally-dyed. Because of the nature of the ingredients, dimensions and exact print and colouring may vary from piece to piece. The dimensions for the handspan and handwoven cotton and silk are dictated by the width and weave structure of the cloth, which varies from weaver to weaver. Finally the shades of colours come from living sources and so can vary seasonally as well as from one dye-lot to another.
